An educational plate of cupcake lovin’ @ Marc by Marc.

I had seen a MUA guy I dated on-and-off for months being interviewed @ DVF the day before and ended up in a heated public exchange the night before Valentine’s. I haven’t done that since I was 20. From the opening salvos (“I think you’re operating under a misapprehension”) and the less sophisticated (“Lemme untwist u”) to the classically inspired closing (“I asked that rhetorically because your answer is of no consequence”) the battle was mine. I went to bed reveling in the satisfaction of righting a wrong.
I woke up on the day of love, pissed. Yes, I was right and he was wrong but being right is a nasty business and not all it’s cracked up to be. So what, I was right? That’s for me to know and him to find out. If he never does, fine. If not, move on and love the one you’re with.
It shouldn’t take 9 cupcakes to come to this conclusion.
